What does electric stimulation do?

Improves spinal biomechanics, increases spinal mobility, and helps pull nutrients into the joint and disc space (this process is called imbabation).

What does intersegmental traction (roller beds) do?

We use several different techniques, some of which are very gentle and low force. Most patients feel very calm and relaxed after the adjustment, but occasionally some may feel some tenderness, as if they have just exercised. This tenderness is usually due to restoring normal joint mobility that the body has not been used to, due to chronic joint restrictions and/or fixations.

Does being adjusted hurt?

An adjustment will increase blood flow, improve nerve conduction, and improved autonomic function.

Do adjustments help with anything other than back pain?

Yes! We treat individuals of all ages.

Can kids get adjustments?

Yes! We have adjustment techniques, as well as an adjusting table, specifically for adjusting pregnant mothers. By keeping the spine aligned during pregnancy, it will not only help keep them comfortable during pregnancy, but it will also, keep the pelvis aligned for easier child delivery.

Can you get adjusted if you are pregnant?

During the initial visit, a complete physical, neurological, orthopedic, and spinal examination, will be performed. During the examination, there may be some findings that may be indicative that x-rays are necessary.

Do you need to have x-rays?

After assessing what type of surgery has been performed, we can work on the area, or in some cases, just around the area, with some very gentle, non-forceful techniques.

Can you be adjusted if you have had neck or back surgery?
